The Midwest Shippers Association (MSA) is a regional trade association agricultural and shipping related cooperative established to expand value- added opportunities for farmers, agribusiness, the grain and
international shipping service industries. MSA continues to build its recognition as THE NETWORK for premium grains and oilseeds in the Upper Midwest region of the USA.

MSA focuses on expanding international trade and improving cost efficient shipping from the five-state Upper Midwest region of Minnesota, Iowa, North and South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

• A strong MSA focus is on expanding intermodal container transportation from the region to global markets.
• MSA promotes opportunities to farmer producers to grow premium, value-added grains and oilseeds and serves as a network for them to the industry.
• MSA works to expand international trade in premium grains and oilseeds through overseas trade missions, assisting in hosting trade delegations, and through our annual Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show.

Midwest Shippers Association members include many of the top US. companies that export premium, identity preserved, specialty grains and soybeans, as well as commodity grains and oilseeds, to food industry customers throughout the world. MSA's membership also includes farmer producers, seed industry firms, partner agricultural organizations, universities and research institutions, and state government agencies. MSA's associate members include transportation providers, and shipping logistics service companies, grain industry quality and testing service companies, and other network partners.
