The 2011 Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show held in Seattle-Tacoma, Washington also featured MSA's first "Grain Export Shipping Conference". Held August 22-24, 2011, the conference featured tours of the Ports of Tacoma and Seattle, and presentations on international port developments; export grain inspections services containerized grain shipping; the latest developments in the expansion of bulk grain export shipping capacity in the Pacific Northwest; and inland intermodal shipping new developments.
Foreign market presentations were given by visiting delegations on China's Food Soybean Market; Southeast Asia feed and commodity markets; Japan and Taiwan DDGS/Corn markets; and Wheat and Specialty Grain Export Opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MEANA) countries.

Midwest Shippers Association’s seventh annual 2010 Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show this year was held jointly in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA with two other internationally prominent events.
Soyatech’s 2010 Soya & Oilseed Summit /Global Soybean & Grain Transport conferences was co-located with MSA’s 2010 Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show. The joint conferences was held October 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Minneapolis.
MSA was excited to be part of bringing a major, high impact international grain and soybean industry event to the Upper Midwest. This event put a global spotlight on the soybean and grain production capabilities of our region of the U.S. and on the shipping and infrastructure needs and opportunities we have in meeting the world’s demand for high quality food.

Highlights of the 2009 Specialty Grains The 2009 sixth annual Midwest Specialty Grains Conference and Trade Show was a major success. Held September 1-3 at the Sioux Falls Sheraton and Sioux Falls Convention Center in Sioux Falls, SD, the Midwest Shippers Association event featured an information-packed conference with international food and grain industry leaders, shipping and transportation experts, national and state government leaders from throughout the U.S., Canada and several foreign nations. The Conference and trade show attracted a strong turnout of attendees and a near record number of trade show exhibitors.
