Dadi Hidayat Maskar

Dadi Hidayat Maskar is a consultant for the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC), responsible for the Soy-food Program in Indonesia since 2007. Prior to his start in consultancy work in 2007, he was a Researcher, Lecturer and Food Safety Coordinator of the South East Asia Minister Education Organization (SEAMEO), Regional Center for Food and Nutrition, University of Indonesia. He is a certified Food Safety Trainer and Food Safety and Quality System Auditor. He wil be joining a panel to address international soy food demands.
Maskar has been involved in several research and intervention projects related to Health, Nutrition and Food Safety, including relief work in emergency health aid. He started his professional career as Medical Representative for Solvay Pharmaceuticals in 1995. He received his MSc in Community Nutrition from the Post Graduate Program of the Medical Faculty, University of Indonesia after obtaining his bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food Technology. He got his PhD in Human Nutrition from the Faculty of Human Ecology, Bogor Agricultural University. Currently, he is National Committee Member of Indonesian Nutritionist Association (PERSAGI) and Secretary General of the Indonesian Tempe Forum (ITF).
