Masi Tateishi

North Asia Regional Human Nutritional Manager & Japan Human Nutrition Director, U.S. Soybean Council


Prior to joining USSEC (former ASA-IM Japan), Tateishi worked in Food Industry Marketing area and Boston University, USA under the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Currently she works as a consultant in USSEC. She plans and implements marketing activities in Japan to promote and expand demand for U.S. Soy to human consumption.                    

Tateishi obtained her BA and MA degrees from Boston University, USA where she specialized in Vision Science & Psychology and conducted human perception research focusing on brain, behavior and cognition. Tateishi loves food and is a qualified food analysist of Japan Food Analysist Association and a soymilk master of Japan Soymilk Association. Tateishi and her family live in Tokyo, Japan.
