Latest developments for Midwest Shippers/USSEC Global Soy Trade Exchange joint conference--new speak
Registered attendance at the upcoming U.S. SOY Global Trade Exchange and Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show is now more than 625 key food and agriculture industry, shipping and government officials from nearly 50 countries, and is growing by the day. The high impact program for the event recently took on more importance. Djamal Djouhri, Chief Executive Officer for the global food and agribusiness conglomerate Al Ghurair Resources, LLC based in the United Arab Emerates, will participate on a panel of major food and feed import buyers discussing their priorities for sourcing grain products. Leaders from Sanko Food in Japan and the Soon Soon Group from Malaysia are also on the panel. New presenters have recently been added to sessions on Third Party Verification Programs for Food Labeling; Emerging Growth Markets for Specialty Grains; and Tools for Risk Management for international grain traders featuring Steven Stasys, Director of Agriculture Options for the CME Group. Transportation sessions will feature among the most informed U.S. port leaders, grain shippers, and global transportation analysts. Alexis Taylor, U.S Department of Agriculture Deputy Undersecretary for Farm and Foreign Agriculture Service will also join the kick-off of the conference on September 10, along with leaders of the U.S. Soybean Export Council, Midwest Shippers Association, and Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
