To All Registered Attendees

We're now only one week away from our big event that we've been planning for over a year. We are excited and look forward to seeing you next week in Indianapolis, Indiana USA.   Here are a few updates and reminders.  Go to www.grainconference.org for the latest up to date information:

Optional Technical Training Sessions Offered by Informa Economics

For those of you who will be staying on after the official ending of the conference at 2:00 p.m.September 1, Informa Economics experts will be offering three additional, optional technical training sessions on market analysis and forecasting; risk management; and transportation of commodities.   The 1 ½ hour long sessions will be offered between 2:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.on September 1, and will repeat, enabling you to take in two of the sessions offered.  You can go to informaecon.com/GlobalTradeExchange.asp  to learn more and to register to attend the sessions.   You can also stop at Informa Economic's booth (No. 421) in the trade show for information.  There is no additional cost to attend for registered paid attendees of the U.S. SOY Global Trade Exchange/Midwest Specialty Grains Conference & Trade Show.

Hotel Lodging Update

Our discount room block at the JW Marriott Indianapolis has long been filled, and our additional room allocation at the attached Marriott Courtyard hotel at this time has also been filled.  However, we have arranged additional lodging at the Marriott Spring Hill Suites, which is also nearby and attached to our main conference hotel by skyway.  Our basic room rate at the Spring Hill Suites is also only $124, plus tax.   We have heard reports of people calling in being offered rooms at the JW Marriott for over $200 a night (way above our discount room block rate of $144, plus tax), so there are other lodging options available for you so that you do not have to pay such a high rate.  If you are registered to attend and don't have a room, go to grainconference.org/hotel-info for the latest discount lodging options for you.

Transportation

There is a downtown shuttle service available from the Indianapolis International Airport that runs from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. that stops at the JW Marriott hotel.   The cost is only $10 each way.  Go to goexpresstravel.com/indy_Express to learn more.  Cab fare will be approximately $35.
