Bhandari to deliver Global Grain and Soy Supply & Demand
Outlook Keynote Presentation
A highlight at this international trade event, this year's keynote presentation on the World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimates for soy and other grain commodities will be delivered by Ankush Bhandari, Vice President of Economic Research at the Gavilon Group, LLC. Bandari is responsible for the company's grain, oilseed, and biofuel industry research and analysis. Gavilon is among the world's largest grain trading companies, connects producers and consumers of feed, food and fuel, linking agricultural supply with demand through its global supply chain network. Sawyer slated to present world outlook for animal protein
William Sawyer, Senior Analyst at Rabobank will present a global outlook on demand and supply for animal protein. Sawyer has specific economic research responsibilities for the animal protein and grain & oilseed sectors within RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness. Rabobank is a leading financial services provider and global agricultural lender to the corporate food, beverage and agribusiness industry worldwide.
U.S. federal grain grading system; plus private risk management & quality assurance services for grain & soy traders - focus of information sessions
A session offering detailed information on how the U.S. grain and soybean grading system works will be presented by Byron Reilly, Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration's (GIPSA) Office of Departmental Initiatives and International Affairs.
A separate session tailored for food manufacturers, as well as commodity buyers, will feature
experts from leading global third party service companies who will zero in on "Risk Management and Quality Assurance in an Evolving Global Specialty Grains & Oilseeds Market."

Shipping & Transportation - A Union Pacific railroad senior manager is slated to present an
overview on U.S. railroad transportation, including both intermodal container and bulk grain and soy shipping. An expert Ocean Shipping panel will zero in on the impact of mergers and
consolidation underway and the new container shipping alliances and what they mean for
shippers. Plus NYSHEX - the New York Shipping Exchange - a brand new program designed
to allow ag shippers to lock in forward pricing and more reliable service for exporting container cargo worldwide, will be presented.
Food Grade Soybeans -- USSEC's global regional staff will provide an outlook for current
global markets for identity preserved food grade specialty soybeans.
Sustainability - U.S. Soybean Export Council experts will also present an overview of the U.S. Soy Sustainability Assurance Protocol.
