June 28, 2017

Another registration discount deadline nears for the Global Soy & Specialty Grains Conference on Friday, July 14

Thank you to all who have already taken advantage of the early registration discounts! For those who have not had a chance to register yet, don't miss out on beating the next upcoming deadline for discounted registration.

Friday, July 14 marks the last chance for early registration rates. Registration will return to full price on July 15. Go to grainconference.org/register to register.

The 2017 U.S. Soybean Export Council and Midwest Shippers Association jointly-hosted conference is set for August 15-17  in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

For more information on the conference, see www.grainconference.org! Details are updated and added on a daily basis.  See you in Omaha!

Additional Lodging

Nearly all of the rooms under the Conference block at the Hilton Omaha, with the exception of some single-night-stay rooms, have been filled. If you are still in need of lodging for the conference, an additional hotel block of rooms has been arranged at the Hilton Garden Inn Omaha Downtown/Old Market Area. The Hilton Garden Inn is located within walking distance, only a few blocks south of the Centurylink Center.

See grainconference.org/hotel-info for hotel reservations.  If you need further assistance, contact us at staff@mnshippers.com.

International Trade Teams

USSEC's staff, here and overseas, are continuing to pull together another large roster of international soy and grain buyer teams coming to Omaha. More than 200 team members are anticipated.

They will include delegations from: The Americas (feed manufacturers, crushers and processors); Black Sea and Mediterranean team (commodity beans and soy meal); China (food soybean team, and commodity and soy meal teams); Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula team (commodity soybeans and meal); Japan (food soybean team); South Korea (crusher processor team); Latin America (soy ingredients and food soybean team); Northern Europe (commodity soybeans and meal); Pakistan and Bangladesh (commodity soybeans); South East Asia (whole commodity soybeans and meal teams, plus soy food teams); and Southern Europe (commodity soybeans and meal).

Details about the USSEC-organized Trade Team meetings are about to come out. Key contact is Eric Gibson. EGibson@ussec.org.
